Terms of Service
Last updated: April 16, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the e2a platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. e2a reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. Description of Service
e2a provides on-demand, isolated compute runtimes. Runtimes are created on demand, process customer-directed workloads, and are terminated when no longer needed. The Service includes API access, realtime output, and a web dashboard for management.
3. Accounts & Authentication
You must register with a valid email address. Authentication is handled via one-time passcodes (OTP). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and for all activity under your account.
4. Credit-Based Billing
Usage is billed in credits. New accounts receive 100 free credits. Additional credits can be purchased via Stripe. Credits are consumed based on compute resources (CPU, RAM), model token usage, runtime operations, and workspace storage. Credit rates are published on the Pricing page. e2a may adjust rates with 30 days notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Run resource abuse, availability attacks, or unauthorized access attempts
- Attempt to bypass runtime isolation or access the host system
- Store or transmit illegal content or credentials obtained without consent
- Abuse compute resources beyond fair-use limits
Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
6. Data & Runtimes
Runtimes are ephemeral by default. Runtime-local data is destroyed when the runtime is terminated. Workspace storage (opt-in) persists data in S3 and is subject to the storage credit rate. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to keep before runtime termination.
7. API Keys & Model Credentials
When using model provider credentials, your keys are passed through only to the runtime that needs them and are never stored by e2a. You are responsible for all charges incurred on your provider account.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. e2a shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Total liability is limited to the amount of credits purchased in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, all active runtimes are terminated and unused credits expire after 90 days. e2a may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
